A supply chain that also ensures all components are produced and shipped to meet agreed delivery dates. How can we be so sure of this? Because wind is all we do. Our supply chain reaches right around the globe. Encompassing three continents . . . where we have approved world-class suppliers in numerous countries each with its own advanced manufacturing capabilities. This gives us much greater flexibility and much greater certainty of predictable component delivery. If a supply interruption at one factory should ever occur . . . . another factory can seamlessly take over to close the chain. And, of course, a significant proportion of components manufactured is carried out in-house . . . giving us strength in depth. We spread the risk by harnessing the power of us and by sharing the production demand load. Every link in the chain is strong, thanks to our 6 Sigma manufacturing philosophy. Our standards mean that each component no matter where in the world it's manufactured is reproduced to validated design specifications. All critical manufacturing processes have been clearly identified and controlled, and we systematically monitor any measurement trends that might ultimately affect quality. This means we can correct any unacceptable variations, making the necessary changes to prevent defects Predictable component delivery.
