2 MW: New product evolutions

Vestas has recently expanded the market-leading 2 MW family with two new evolutions to ensure boosted energy production and market leading grid compliance. By optimising our 2 MW turbines – the V90-2.0 MW GridStreamer™ for IEC IA and V100-2.0 MW GridStreamer™ for IEC IIA, we are able to deliver up to 15% more energy output depending on site specific conditions. The increased performance is primarily due to an optimised gearbox design. Now you can further explore how this optimised gearbox design and a full scale converter play a key role in bringing to life two highly reliable and more advanced turbines from Vestas.
